Education Secretary Leonor Briones said that online education will continue despite resumption of physical classes,

The department will continue to implement the blended learning approach, she said.

“We have a lot of catching up to do, both in face-to-face where our children learn not only facts but also how to deal with each other, with their teachers, with their parents. Where we teach them what we now describe as good manners and right conduct,” she added.

Briones said that Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics will be priority to mold learners.

“We are not giving up on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and online because when our learners get out of school for work or for further education they will be in a world which is actually a blend of both face-to-face and technology,” she said.

  1. Education for the rich who have good internet and money to pay for descent hardware and software? I hope they find than a solution to have better internet outside the big cities. so that the poorer students can study as well! In fact that solution exist: FACE TO FACE for all students. A lot of students are now fully vaccinated but can still not go to school.
