2 teachers died because of aneurysm, not heatstroke
Mr. Leonil Salvilla, who works for the Schools Division Office of Iloilo, said this. He got this information from the district supervisor and the public affairs coordinator in Sta. Barbara.
He also made it clear that the stories saying these teachers died from heatstroke while teaching are false.
According to the details provided, one teacher died in February and the other in early April. No more information about the teachers who died was shared.
Due to the current conditions, the schools in the area are using a mix of in-person and online learning to keep both students and teachers safe.
