List of Schools with Classes Suspended Due to Extreme Heat

The Department of Education has issued prior instructions to elementary and secondary schools to shift to alternative modes of learning delivery, such as modular and online classes, in case of suspension of face-to-face classes due to intense heat.

This list will be updated once local or national authorities make announcements.

Here is a list of areas where on-site classes are suspended for Thursday, April 18, 2024, due to intense heat

Learners are advised to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, stay indoors especially during the hottest part of the day, wear lightweight, breathable clothing, and avoid strenuous activities during peak heat hours.
