Steps in voting for 2022 National and Local Polls

The Commission on Elections(COMELEC) gave us a guide on how to vote this coming May 9, 2022 National and Local Polls.

This is to ensure safe and smooth sailing election.

STEPS IN VOTING for the MAY 9, 2022 NATIONAL AND LOCAL POLLS
Voting Time : 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

  1. Have your temperature checked before entering the voting center.
  2. Proceed to the Voters’ Assistance Desk (VAD) to secure your precinct and sequence numbers and assigned room or clustered precinct.
  3. Go to your assigned room and introduce yourself to the Electoral Board by stating your name, precinct and sequence numbers.
  4. Get your ballot, ballot secrecy folder and marking pen and fill-out the ballot at the voting area.
  5. Accomplish the ballot by fully shading the oval appearing before the name of the candidate you wish to vote for. Do not overvote.
  6. Feed the ballot into the Vote Counting Machine (VCM).
  7. Check your voter’s receipt and then deposit it in the receptacle.
  8. Have your right forefinger nail stained with indelible ink.

Oras ng Pagboto : 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

  1. SUMAILALIM sa temperature check bago pumasok ng voting center.
  2. MAGTUNGO sa Voters’ Assistance Desk (VAD) para alamin ang iyong precinct at sequence numbers at assigned room o clustered precinct.
  3. PUMUNTA sa inyong assigned room at magpakilala sa Electoral Board sa pamamagitan ng pagsabi ng inyong pangalan, precinct number at sequence number.
  4. KUNIN ang balota, ballot secrecy folder at marking pen mula sa EB at magtungo sa voting area upang bumoto.
  5. ITIMAN ang loob ng bilog sa unahan ng pangalan ng kandidatong nais mong iboto. Huwag bumoto ng labis sa nakatalagang bilang sa bawat posisyon.
  6. IPASOK ang balota sa Vote Counting Machine (VCM).
  7. SURIIN ang resibo at ihulog ito sa nakatalagang lagayan.
  8. MAGPALAGAY ng indelible ink sa kuko ng inyong kanang hintuturo.

VOTE SAFE. Laging sundin ang nakatakdang health and safety protocols.

Shade the circle BEFORE the number of your candidate, NOT AFTER the name of the candidate. VOTE WISELY, VOTE CORRECTLY!
