SBM validation should be the work of the principals and not an increase workload for teachers
SBM validation should be the work of the principals and not an increase workload for teachers. True or not? If you are reading this article and you say this is not true, I say it’s a slap shame to you for being hypocrite.
In the previous years, it is the principal who worked for the supporting documents for this. But wow, at present they increase the workload of teachers by letting them indulge in this. This is a shame to all the principals and higher officials out there who can’t do their job. (This may vary from school to school since some schools have principals who are great. This may not be true to all public schools.)
I still remembered how we worked day and night for this last year. The efforts of the coordinators who worked for this SBM are huge. They can’t compensate us on this. No matter what their reasons are for giving the work to teachers, still it is not good.
SBM validation should be the work of the principals, isn’t it? Yes teachers are willing to help in the actual set up but not the whole workload process. What do teachers know about the finances of the school? How would teachers know the previous big events in the early years that aren’t recorded?
This work sucks and yes it is not easy. Aside from the fact that teachers will chip-in amount for the food for the validators when in fact it is their job. Teachers are always the puppet in this system. They use their own money for the food, decorations and all. Then they are also the one who will prepare the necessary documents ready. How is this possible in the public schools? Isn’t this too much? SBM validation should be the work of the principals in the schools they handle.
SBM validation should be the work of the principals and not the teachers. If there is anything that teachers could help is to give the documents they have. Nothing more nothing less. The level of workload in the public schools is disappointing plus the deadlines. Teachers should teach because it is what is in their role. When will this system change? – Alec | Helpline PH
