VP Inday doesn’t make it a habit to pocket money from the Filipino people – FPRRD
Former President Rodrigo Duterte insisted that it’s not in Vice President Sara Duterte’s character to pocket money from the Filipino people. This follows the controversial issue regarding the confidential fund of the Vice President. In the program Gikan sa Masa, Para sa Masa, on November 15, 2023, the former president revealed that VP Inday doesn’t need to steal from the nation’s treasury because, in terms of money, the Vice President has enough. The former President also mentioned that he read the reason behind the request for a P500M confidential fund by the Office of Vice President, which is to revive and strengthen the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) in the country.
According to information obtained, there are schools being slowly infiltrated by communists. The Vice President and the DepEd Secretary plan, through this budget, to gradually encourage the youth to become reservists, as many are currently uninterested. Digong further stated that in the event of a war, the country’s police force, including the firefighters, would not be able to defend the nation.

It is remembered that VP Inday did not push through with the request for P500 million confidential and intelligence funds for the next year 2024.
