Today’s Gospel Reflection: John 3:16-18

John 3:16-18

Gospel: John 3:16-18

‘For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
‘Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

John 3:16-18

Reflection:

The gospel for today is from John 3:16-18 which is telling us of the great love of God for His people. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His son. That whosoever would believe in Him, will not perish but have everlasting life.”

From the moment God sacrificed His beloved son to die on the cross for our sins we are already blest. We find hope and solace in the promise of God. Jesus is the rescue of humanity from the darkness and condemnation. The purpose of His sacrifice is for us to have a guide to the light once again.

To reflect ourselves with John 3:16-18, we must try to assess our inner selves. If God Himself did not judge any of us, instead He gave us a ray of light then we also should not condemn others. We must also try to be very patient and we should not be quick to judge and condemn others.

The power of the gospel from John 3:16-18 stay strong. “Whoever believes in him is not condemned. Whoever does not believe stands condemned already. This is because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”

John 3:16-18 gave importance to our faith and belief. Faith gave us the gift of salvation from condemnation. The feeling of faith alone will give us security and assurance that God is with us forever. It is through our faith that we will be save.

To reflect John 3:16-18, I speak for myself in behalf of everybody else. Though our times today have changed, our world is full of wrath still we hold onto our greatest FAITH. Believe in God’s promise and trust forever in His ways. The maker of life will always be on your side if you are firm in your faith in Him. – Clea | HelplinePH
