In 2019, we heard the story of teacher Gennie Panguelo who went viral. She was a native Aeta teacher who took the LET 25 times before passing. As you can see, many were inspired by her story back then.
One teacher once got inspired with her story and it was teacher Lino. After watching the viral story of teacher Gennie, teacher Lino decided to try his luck again. This is an inspiring story of a teacher who passed the LET after 28 tries.
Teacher Lino failed the exam many times until the 28th try. He is lucky to at last pass it. Teacher Lino shared his story on Facebook. He recalled his experiences listening to the story of Teacher Gennie.
“She inspired me a lot at that time. Sabi ko kailangan maipasa kona tong exam Kasi kakahiya that was my 23 times Sana kung naipasa ko.”
Unfortunately, Teacher Lino failed again for the 23rd time. Yet his determination made him not quit. He persevered until he reaps his goal.
He said, “Pero wala bagsak pa din. Lagi ko naisip na balang araw naipasa ko sya katulad ni madame Aeta tuloy tuloy lang ako sa kaeexam. Ang point ko pag oras muna oras muna.”
In January 2022 LET, teacher Lino passed the LET and offered his success to God.
He wrote, “This is not my success, this was a gift given by God.”
When Teacher Lino’s story went viral, he hoped that more people would also get inspired. He encouraged those who feel down for failing to try again.

“Ako’y naniniwala pa rin sa kasabihan na ‘sa hinabahaba ng prosisyon ay simbahan parin ang tuloy.’ Mapapasaan at mapapagud din si PRC sa mukha natin kaya mapapasa tayo.”
According to teacher Lino, quitting does not solve anything. Even though how hard life may get, you actually is the only captain of your destiny.
