Beat the Heat: Teacher’s Cool Treats Inspire Students During Exams
You’ll surely be envious of this teacher’s unique reward system for her students from Valenzuela City as she helps them beat the heat.
Meet Yhen Rodriguez, a current Grade 9 teacher at Bagbaguin National High School. Just recently, she treated her students to iced coffee and milk tea during their 3rd periodical examination, making it easier for them to beat the heat.
In her Facebook post, she said, “3rd Periodical Examination… For Shakespeare! Good luck, my students. Don’t feel too pressured, I know you always do your best. We won’t have good luck cookies this time… because of the hot weather, we have Iced Coffee and Milk Tea from Ma’am instead.”
In the uploaded pictures, you can see rows of drink cups on the table. In the next photo, the wide smiles on her students’ faces are evident as they hold their respective beverages, appreciating the cool respite from the heat.
Due to the extreme heat, this was Teacher Yhen’s refreshing idea. Moreover, she has been giving out treats like cookies to her students, especially during exams, for quite some time.
