VP Sara praises teachers for high OCTA survey result
Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio thanked teachers after a survey by OCTA Research showed that the Department of Education (DepEd) is the most trusted government agency. She said this honor is a recognition of the hard work and dedication of teachers, staff, parents’ groups, private partners, and everyone involved in supporting the education of Filipino children. She praised the commitment of these individuals in serving the nation.
In the third quarter of 2023, DepEd was ranked the highest among government agencies in performance and trust. They got an 80% rating for overall performance and a 79% trust rating. The Vice President also thanked the public for their trust in DepEd, saying it’s an honor to be recognized as the ‘Most Trusted and Top Performing Government Agency.’
Duterte-Carpio emphasized that this achievement was not possible by just one person or a few people in the Department. It’s the result of everyone working together with a shared goal and love for the country.
