P10,000 Annual Teaching Supplies Allowance for Public School Teachers
After 13 years of struggle for an additional Teaching Supplies Allowance, the ACT Teachers Party-list has finally realized and enacted a sufficient and reasonable P10,000 additional allowance for public teachers. From the previous P700, it was increased to P5,000 and now doubled with the enactment of RA No. 11997 or the ‘Kabalikat sa Pagtuturo Act!’
After this success, let us continue the struggle for increased salaries for teachers, staff, and workers. Long live the collective action of teachers.
