Job Description:
We are looking for passionate Art Teachers to join our team in Alaska! In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Lesson Planning: Develop and plan lessons focused on art and art history that meet students’ learning goals.
- Classroom Preparation: Set up the necessary equipment and materials for art classes.
- Teaching Techniques: Improve students’ skills in drawing, coloring, and painting. You will teach them how to use different materials like graphite, charcoal pencils, and various types of paints such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Assign and grade projects and exams, track students’ progress, and manage classroom supplies.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching.
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts or a related field. Professional licensure is a plus.
