All government employees, including teachers, will receive more cash benefits for serving in the 2022 election

The 2022 election is coming. All the government employees and teachers who will serve in the election will receive benefits or honorariums based on Comelec Resolution No. 10727, declared on November 10, 2021. Here are the benefits, or honorariums, that government employees and teachers will receive in service of the upcoming 2022 election.

1. Honoraria

Chairperson and members of the EB, DESO, RESPECTIVE SUPPORT STAFF, and MEDICAL PERSONNEL will receive an honorarium. The chairperson (7,000 pesos), Member of the EB (6,000 pesos), DESO (5,000 pesos), Support Staff (3,000 pesos), and Medical Staff (3,000 pesos).

2. Travel allowance

Chairperson and members of EB, DESO, and RESPECTIVE SUPPORT STAFF will receive 2,000 pesos each. EAPP and IPP support will receive 1000 pesos.

3. Communication Allowance

Only Technical Support Staff will receive 1,500 pesos.

4. Anti- COVID-19 Allowance

Members of EB, DESO, RESPECTIVE SUPPORT STAFF, MEDICAL PERSONNEL, and EAPP STAFF will receive 500 pesos each.

5. Service Credit

A minimum of 5 days of service credit will give to the government employees and officials who serve as EB, DESO, MEDICAL PERSONNEL, and SUPPORT STAFF.

6. Other Benefits

These benefits are those who render service during the election. Here are the benefits that they will receive:

  • Death Benefit

all beneficiaries of the deceased person whose death is connected with the election will receive the amount of 500 000 pesos.

  • Medical Assistance

The amount will not exceed 200,000 pesos. They will give to the person who rendered an election-related service and suffered election-related injury or illnesses.

The honoraria and allowances will be available and distributed within 15 days from the election date. Delay in giving the allowances and honoraria will be liable for an election offense. All the contained information is based on Comelec Resolution No. 10727. – Doki | Helpline PH
