LGU asked to give scholarship grants to School Heads
The Department of Education asked the local government of Bago to give scholarship grants to school leaders.
The issue was raised when DepEd officials led by Schools Division Superintendent Neri Anne Alibuyog, Chief Education Supervisor Orlando Cezar Jr., and Chief Education Supervisor Ma. Lourdes Teodoro paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Nicholas Yulo and Vice Mayor Ramon Torres.
They presented a proposal dubbed “Bagonhon School Leaders: Champions! School Head Academy Scholarship Grants.”
This aims to develop champion school heads who will help groom champion learners.
It will also provide the chance for teachers who want to lead schools in the future and at the same time ensure quality education in Bago City.
