However, schools will continue to observe teachers for the purpose of providing technical assistance, ensuring teachers still receive guidance and support in improving their classroom practices.

The Commission on Audit reported that DepEd completed only 192 classrooms in 2023, well below the target of 6,379. New DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara has pledged to address delays and overhaul the system to improve project implementation and ensure students have better learning environments.
