It is nonsense to still stay in the Philippines with no assurance for the family. Loans are everywhere, bills and tuition fees are coming together. Still the salary is the same yet the prices of all commodities are going up.
There are many factors that will tempt all teachers to apply in other countries as teachers. Nowadays, status is not anymore a big achievement. What will your status give you if you can’t even live in peace because of your loans?
Position status for me is useless in the Philippines. Teachers here strive hard to graduate Master’s Degree and Doctors Degree in education. You know what, these people with higher position status still have loans anyway.
This is why teachers may try their epic luck in Taiwan or in other countries offering a decent salary. Even teachers in Thailand are doing great. I will be a hypocrite if I say money is not the issue here. Money is always the issue I tell you. Isn’t it the reason why we work? To earn money to survive?
In the next few months, the country would expect teachers to work in other countries. Why not? When the job offer is not that difficult and yet you can earn plenty then go.
