2022 Impressive Benefits and Cash Allowances of DepEd Teachers
The most anticipated part is DepEd teachers’ impressive benefits and cash allowances as the teachers welcome the year 2022. What do teachers expect from the coming months? The 2022 complete list of benefits and cash allowances for DepEd teachers:
Performance Based Bonus
DepEd personnel in the “best performance” classification will receive a bonus worth 65% of their salary, 57.5% for “better performance,” and 50% for “good performance.” This is under Executive Order No. 80, Section 2012. This is supposed to arrive in February or March. It consists of 50% to 60% of teachers’ basic salary.
This comes in 6,000.00 and is bound to arrive in April of the year.
This is under DBM number 546 and is a staple of one month’s basic salary. Every month of May, teachers will wait for this.
PVP Summer and Christmas Break
The rule 16 of the Omnibus Civil Service Rules, section 6, 70 days of PVP during summer and Christmas Break. This is only for those who have rendered full service during this school year.
Chalk Allowance/Teaching Supplies Allowance
This comes in amounting to 5,000.00. This allowance is intended for the purchase of teaching supplies and materials, tangible or intangible; for the conduct of various modes of learning; for internet and other communication expenses; and for their annual medical examination expense. This will come out within June and July.
DepEd Anniversary Bonus/Teachers’ Day Incentive
Under DBM number 452, it’s worth 1,000.00, released in October.
This equals one month’s basic salary and is released on November 15.
This is the amount of 5,000 and is released within November.
This is also 5,000.00 and is expected to arrive in December.
Special Hardship Allowance
15% to 25% of monthly salary for teachers assigned to the most challenging assignments.
Maternity Leave, Paternity Leave, and Study Leave
Grant for three years of continuous satisfactory service in the position.
Loyalty Cash Incentive
Amounting to 5,000 to 10,000 every 10th year of service or five years after.
Vacation Service Credits
Limited to a maximum of 15 days per year.
This is 2,000.00 per month for mobile teachers.
