DepEd Warns to Avoid Food Poisoning During Christmas Party
The Department of Education (DepEd) has announced that the Christmas break for public schools will start on December 18, 2023. DepEd Naga is reminding everyone to be careful about food poisoning during this time. In a talk with Brigada News FM Naga, DepEd Superintendent Dr. Susan Collano said that besides following the rules about money contributions for events, it’s also important for those making food and parents to make sure the food is safe.
Also, the Department of Health (DOH) in Bicol is running a “Safe Christmas” campaign. Ms. Arlene R. Reario, who leads the National Nutrition Council in Bicol, said in a press conference that people should think carefully about the food they prepare.
