TESDA May 200k Scholarships Slots Na Hindi Pa Nagagamit
Aabot sa 200,000 ang slots para sa scholarships ang hindi pa nagagamit sa ilalim ng pondo ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority ngayong taon.
Sa inaprubahang 368,874 slots para sa scholarships, 158.966 lang ang enrolled, ibig sabihin na mayroon pang natitirang 209,908 slots.
“As of September 30, ang na-utilize lang is 32.3 percent of the target learners, and I’m only talking about enrolled… You only have three months left from October to December to utilize it,” pahayag ni Senador Joel Villanueva.
Target sana ng TESDA na magbigay ng 492,885 scholarship slots sa qualified students o applicants ngayong taon.
Ayon kay TESDA Directos General Isidro Lapeña, dahil sa restrictions bunsod ng Covid19 pandemic kaya mababa ang utilization ng scholarship slot.
“The figure is like that because of the community quarantine restrictions but with the relaxation of the community quarantine, then we can speed this up,” pahayag ni Lapeña.
“In fact, we are rescheduling enrollment and graduation at the same time, because many are waiting for this… but we can do it for the last three months,” pagtiyak pa ng opisyal.
