DepEd to hold temporary module learning

The Department of Education in Region 9 will temporarily suspend the conduct of face-to-face classes and will have modular learning as the low pressure area flooded over 100 schools in the Zamboanga Peninsula.

DepEd Region9 said that the issuance of modules will ensure learning continuity as the region recovers from the disaster.

DepEd said that 28 schools in the region were turned into evacuation centers and an estimated 200,000 students were affected by floods.

“It may last for two week, so habang nililinis ‘yung school, pwede naman na ibalik muna natin ang tinatawag na blended learning.
