School Christmas Break is from Dec. 20, 2021 to Jan. 2, 2022

The Department of Education (DepEd) announced the school Christmas break for school year 2021-2022 is from December 20, 2021 to January 2, 2022.

“PABATID PARA SA MGA GURO, MAGULANG, AT MAG-AARAL!

Alinsunod sa Presidential Proclamation No. 1107, s. 2021, ang All Souls’ Day, Christmas Eve, at New Year’s Eve ngayong taon ay idineklara bilang special working days.

Samantala, ayon sa DepEd Order No. 29, s. 2021, holiday break naman para sa mga paaralan ang mga araw mula Disyembre 20, 2021 hanggang Enero 2, 2022.”

The school year 2021-2022 is set to end on June 24.

President Rodrigo Duterte declared November 2, December 24, and December 31, 2022 as working days, the second straight year these were not declared public holidays.

The President’s Proclamation 1236 declared All Soul’s Day (November 2), Christmas Eve (December 24), and the last day of the year or New Year’s Eve (December 31) as special working days.
