DepEd releases School Calendar for SY 2022-2023

The Department of Education issues DepEd Order No. 34, s. 2022 or the School Calendar and Activities for the School Year (SY) 2022-2023.

The SY 2022-2023 shall open on Monday, August 22, 2022, and shall end on July 7, 2023. It shall consist of 203 school days or as may be determined by further issuance/s in case of changes in the school calendar due to unforeseen circumstances.

The following are the number of school days every month

  • August – 7
  • September – 22
  • October – 21
  • November – 20
  • December – 11
  • January – 20
  • February – 14
  • March – 22
  • April – 18
  • May -22
  • June-21
  • July – 5

There will be 203 days school days in total.

  1. if 215 days are the number of school days where is our 60 days vacation sir? Nasa batas yan na we were given 60 days vacation with pay. If that is the case give us 30 days service credits. that woild be okay for us teacherd.

      Grabe naman to!..isipin nyo naman ang side namin…Iyon nlng ang panahon na masulit namin ang bonding para sa pamilya namin….nabawasan pa ang bakasyon ng mga guro…

Sana naman po bigyan kami ng pahinga, yung talagang totoong pahinga na makakapag bakasyon kami na wlang iisiping update sa school taz mag i inset na naman kuno pra daw may leave credits eh hindi namn makaka avail ang teachers ng vacation leave. Haays taz iisipin pa pamasahe pa papuntang bundok di na makapag pahinga sa pamasahe. Oh Lord hear us.

  3. I hope wala na sanang paper works, mga unecessary reports, focus na sa pagtuturo ang mga teachers, pag may extracurricular activities ma didistrupt na yung klase

  4. Wla nalang bang nag iinyindi sa kapakanan ng mga guro? Kc puro nlang trabaho ang laman ng kalendaryo namin. Sana manlang ay may tumulong dyan sa nasa gobyerno upang maliwanagan ang ating mga kinauukulan tungkol sa kapakanan ng mga guro.

  8. I am reading all the comments here and I totally agree..sana may makinig naman samen..pls pag bakasyon,,bakasyon talaga..i think we deserve that..at sana makapag focus sa teaching talaga..pls hire someone for the paper works pag focus kme da bata..quality education din..

  9. Wala na talagang bakasyon, may remedial at enrichment classes pa silang kautusan.
    Naalala ko yung dati kong tinutuluyan at tumulong sa akin na makapagtapos, “Habang nanonood ka ng TV, piliin mo yung palay at bato sa bigas.” haha ay ang malala, “Habang namamahinga ka, pag taga tanggalan mo ng alikabok itong mga halaman sa loob.” Ano raw yun DEPED?

  10. Akala ko pa naman welfare ng teachers ang magiging focus ni madam sara…. Parang ndi yata… Nakakalungkot naman..dapat pala itulad na lang din tau sa mga nag oopisina na empleyado ng gobyerno… Pagsapit ng alas singko, Wala na sila iisipin… kinabukasan na ulit… Samantalang teachers may iuuwi pang trabaho… 😔.

  11. Parang awa niyo na sa mga teachers, halos buong buhay namin puro trabaho, trabaho sa school, trabaho pa s bahay.. hnd na namin nabibigyan ng oras yung family namin. Pa’no naging P62, 000 ang salary naming Teacher 1- Teacher 3? Saan nanggaling yung figure na yan? Sana pahalagahan din kami at bigyan ng sapat na sahod sa trabahong samdamakmak..
