The S3x Education subject is set to be part in the online learning module of the students.

Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM) Executive Director Juan Antonio Perez III made the statement, following the estimated rise in the population of the Philippines in the year 2021.

According to Exec. Dir. Perez, the Department of Education started its coordination since October with its regional offices about the inclusion of the Comprehensive S3xuality Education in the online learning modalities.

Ilocos, Central Visayas, and the Davao Region are the areas prioritized for the subject’s launch since they have the highest incidence of adolescent pregnancy.

“Yun ang priority nila because pinaka-mataas ang adolescent pregnancy sa Region 11 and they are rolling out itong comprehensive s3xual education through online learning,” he said.
