Pondo sa Connectivity Allowance ng mga Guro Isinusulong

Isinusulong ni Senador Panfilo Lacson ang kanyang institutional amendment para sa 2022 national budget.

Kasama na rito ang kanyang mga panukalang pagbabago sa pondo ng Department of Education.

Isa pa sa mga panukalang amendments ni Lacson ang pagdagdag sa ‘connectivity load’ para sa mga guro at DepEd personnel.

“To pursue the meaningful benefits of ‘connectivity load’ with significant savings for the government, an increase in the appropriations for the connectivity load for 1 million DepEd personnel is hereby proposed. To this end, increase the appropriations of the MOOE of DepEd by P1 billion or from P2.30 billion to P3.30 billion,” pahayag ni Lacson.

Isa rin sa isinusulong ni Lacson sa DepEd budget ang P500 milyong dagdag sa Quick Response Fund para sa gastos sa repair at reconstruction ng mahigit 8,706 classrooms. Hindi pa kasali rito ang unfunded requirements para ma-cover ang pinsala ni Super Typhoon Rolly, at para sa repair at reconstruction ng pinsala sa mga pampublikong klasrum noong mga nakaraang taon.

Isinusulong din ni Lacson ang mga sumusunod

• P35 milyong dagdag sa Indigenous People’s Education Program;
• P425 milyong dagdag sa Flexible Learning Options;
• P90 milyon sa Special Education Program;
• P550 milyon sa Inclusive Education Program;
• P22.145-million dagdag sa Child Protection Program;
• at P1 bilyong dagdag sa Last Mile Schools Program.
