DepEd: No extension for enrollment, deadline on August 22

The Department of Education said the enrollment for School Year 2022-2023 will remain until August 22 .

DepEd spokesperson Atty. Michael Poa called on parents and guardians to enroll their children now and no longer wait for the August 22 deadline.

“Hinihikayat pa rin natin ang ating mga magulang na hindi pa nakakapag-enroll na i-enroll na po agad ang kanilang mga anak. Huwag na po nating hintayin ‘yung August 22 na deadline,” he added.

“Sa ngayon po, wala pa po tayong extension na napag-uusapan. Sa ngayon, hanggang August 22 and deadline ng enrollment natin,” he added.

As of Tuesday, 7 a.m., the total number of enrolled learners for the incoming academic year is at 21,272,820.

Poa said DepEd is expecting 28.6 million enrollees for this school year.

  1. I’m so grateful because DepEd allows face to face . face to face allows students to have instant gratification with answers and help . When a student is in class they can ask questions while it is fresh on their mind or help with a particular problem . If the student was at home online they would have to wait for the instructor to email them back.
