There is no discrimination to unvaccinated students and teachers – DepEd

The Department of Education reassured that there will be no separate guidelines for students and personnel who have not received Covid19 vaccine.

DepEd Spokesperson Atty. Michael Poa said that the department issued one policy for all students and teachers.

“We have a non-discriminatory policy. Meaning for both teaching, non-teaching personnel, as well as our learners themselves,” he said.

“We will not discriminate. Walang separate guidelines for those that are vaccinated and those that are unvaccinated. Voluntary pa rin ang pananaw natin sa vaccination,” Poa added.

The Department of Health also said that students will not be required to have Covid19 vaccine but it is highly encouraged.
