Schools Divisions with Best Sanitation Practices receive awards

The Department of Education has recognized schools for their sanitation practices during its Eskwela Unstoppable Awards.

Winners were selected based on their scores on specific sanitation indicators using the Three Star Approach monitoring criteria.

The Schools Division of Navotas bagged the Best Division Award while Best SDO-Model School Awards were given to Bangkulasi Elementary School, Dagat-Dagatan Elementary School, Navotas Elementary School, Filemon T. Lizan Senior High School, and Bangkulasi Senior High School.

The Bislig City Schools Division Office claimed the Most Improved Award for achieving the highest WinS monitoring score.

The Eskwela Unstoppable Awards is a joint initiative between the Department of Education and Unilever, in partnership with GIZ, to recognize the efforts of schools in the development and maintenance of proper sanitation management.

It also aims to encourage more schools to take part in the implementation of WinS.
