Over 98% of Self Learning Modules are ready for distribution

The Department of Education reported that around 98.83% of Self Learning Modules (SLM) are already printed and ready to be distributed to public school students.

Based on the data presented by DepEd, out of over 739 million of the printed learning materials, over 730 million of these are ready for distribution.

The Self Learning Modules (SLM) will be the main learning material for distance learning in all public schools in this coming School Year 2020-2021.

DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones assures that all SLM will be printed and distributed before October 5, 2020, which is the official opening of classes this school year.

Meanwhile, based on the national enrollment data by DepEd today, over 24.456 million students already enrolled for this school year which comprises 88.06% of the total number of enrollees last school year.
