Register and exercise the right to vote

The Department of Education encourages students who are eligible to vote to register. So students will be able to exercise their right to vote.

Education Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction Diosdado San Antonio emphasized DepEd’s role in encouraging students to participate in political issues, especially in choosing the country’s leaders.

“Ang pangarap natin sabi nga sa DepEd Vision ay, ‘Filipinos who passionately love their country and who use their talents and potentials to build a strong country,” he added.

According to Commission on Elections, new voters have until September 30, 2021.

An eligible new voter must be
