DepEd seeks LGU’s help for distribution of printed learning materials

Department of Education will seek help from the local government unit in distributing printed learning materials to students to support distance learning as we are still in a battle with the COVID-19 virus.

According to Education Undersecretary Diosdado San Antonio, distance learning can be done through printed learning materials, televisions, and radios especially for students who are living in remote areas that have no access to the internet.

San Antonio emphasized that parents have a major role in this new normal education.

DepEd has announced that enrollment can start on June 1.

The opening of classes is set on August 24 but it does not mean the physical return of students and teachers in school.
