DepEd admits not all modules underwent quality check; welcomes volunteer error spotter

The Department of Education acknowledged that not all modules released for distance learning underwent proofreading, but promised to strictly evaluate the rest of the modules.

Erroneous and confusing modules have been the hot topic on social media lately that were allegedly coming from DepEd.

Education Undersecretary Diosdado San Antonio said they try very hard to screen every module but still there were several items unintentionally slip through.

San Antonio begged the public to first check if the modules having errors really came from DepEd since modules from private schools are beyond the department’s control.

Wala po kaming kaalam-alam doon,” he said.
