Palace: Face-to-face classes might resume by January 2021 but the decision is still with President Duterte

Face-to-face classes might resume by January 2021

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said that face-to-face classes might resume by January 2021 but still the final say remains to be with President Rodrigo Duterte.

Roque assured that the DepEd is preparing for the possible resumption and he added that the government aims to place all areas in the country under modified general community quarantine or MGCQ by January of next year.

Classes in all public schools officially started October 5 nationwide implementing distance learning modality amid the COVID-19 pandemic

Earlier, President Duterte said that he will not allow face-to-face classes until a vaccine for COVID-19 will be made available.
