DepEd ends Quarter 1 on Dec. 12, 2020

The Department of Education has set December 12, 2020, as the last day of classes for Quarter 1 of public schools.

In a social media post, DepEd announces all K to 12 students will have their holiday break from December 19, 2020, to January 3, 2021.

Meanwhile, teachers will have their In-Service Training on December 14 to 19, 2020.

Classes will resume on January 4, 2021.

DepEd started classes on October 5, instead of August 24. This is to give teachers and students more time to prepare for distance learning.

Delivery of instruction this school year may be via online classes, or printed modules, or the use of TV and radio amid pandemic.
